As temperatures drop, sometimes to below freezing point in South Africa, winter represents cruel and cold nights for many who don’t have the means to stay warm. With the cold winter approaching fast, Encounter Hope set out to make a valuable contribution through our Winter Outreach this year. Many were sponsored a blanket, a beanie and a cooked meal. We were also able to minister the gospel to each individual and spread the love of God in the city of Centurion.

The results of this outreach will be felt for those in need – now and for the rest of the cold winter months to come.

Encounter Christian Church is passionate about saving the lives of people in our community. This past weekend our ECC members participated in donating their blood to the South African National Blood Service(SANBS). What a perfect opportunity it was for us as a church to get together and make a difference!
